Please be advised that if you are not at or above the age of majority (18 years of age) we are unable to provide you with waxing services.  You must present before service a written signed consent letter or verbal (in person) consent from your parent or guardian.

Our spa waxing services gently remove the hair directly from its root which leaves the skin comfortable and smooth to the touch.  Among Beauty-Full Spa’s signature services is the Brazilian Wax with an everyday price of $30 (details below).  We even offer a Pain-Free Brazilian Wax for $85 (details below) for the First Timer (allow 90 minutes).

Plus our Eyebrow Artistry (Shaping) is second to none!  Our waxing takes place in clean and safe rooms where even the timidest person feels comfortable. Our techniques are highly hygienic with no double-dipping.  The disposable examination paper used is always fresh sheet(s) for each client.  At Beauty-Full Spa Pickering we comply and often exceed the guidelines of the Durham Regional Board of Health.  Please do not hesitate to call if you have any questions or concerns.

We do not provide threading.  In the price table below you will see (PW +) which is the extra cost for use of the Premium Liposoluble White Zinc Dioxide Warm Wax.  All other stated prices include the Spa House Cream Wax.  If no indication is given please assume House Wax will be used.

Waxing in General

*As we are not licensed as hairstylists, we do not cut or trim your hair.  If your area to be waxed involves pubic hair, it must be trimmed to 1 cm in length and we reserve the right to refuse service if (1) the hair is greater than 1 cm (1/4″) in length or (2)  for all waxing if proper hygiene is not followed.  Your esthetician (a.k.a. Waxpert) also appreciates you showering before your appointment.  If this is not possible a wipe will be provided to you before your waxing.  Upon arrival, you will be paired with an experienced Waxpert who is efficient, fast, and skilled and will minimize the pain often associated with hair removal in these sensitive areas.  For men who shave the area, hold off on shaving for 2 weeks before the appointment.

For female waxing, we use two types of depilatory wax, a Premium Liposoluble White Zinc Dioxide (indicated above as PW) warm wax made in Italy, and our House Wax made in Canada, which is included in all of the above-stated waxing prices.

Our Premium Liposoluble White Zinc Dioxide warm wax is safe for most clients and carries a separate cost that will be given to you at the time of waxing.  The price varies depending on the total coverage required.  The zinc dioxide premium warm wax is often preferred when the hair is very short as it is stickier than the House Cream Wax. The ingredients of the house wax are Vegetal gum resin, natural beeswax, lanolin, and lemongrass essential oil.

Zinc oxide is a topical product that is used as a coating to protect a superficially initiated irritation or skin abrasions. Zinc oxide, which is provided with antiseptic properties, will exert a suggestive action of a mild astringent.  If you are allergic to any of these ingredients you should select Beauty-Full Spa creamy house wax:  Glyceryl Rosinate, Paraffinum Liquidum/Mineral Oil, Zinc Oxide, Titanium Dioxide, Mica, and BHT.  This wax is made in Italy.

Ladies, if you are calling in (905-420-0020) to book a Brazilian wax we offer a secret code so others around you have no idea of the service you are requesting. If you are looking for just the front (Brazilian $30) ask for a “Mr. B” and add the back Mr. B+ ($15 for a total front and back of $45).

Yes, if you are from South America a traditional Brazilian Wax refers to the front and back being waxed which most of the ladies in that geographic area do on a frequent basis.  The reason the back (butt crease) is broken out of the price is an estimated 40% of the population has no hair in that region, so why are they paying for something they do not need.

When making your appointment please state your preference, Mr. B or Mr. B+.  We will understand how much time you require and the people around you pretending not to listen will have no idea what you are requesting.  Thus they can keep their opinions to themselves! Don’t be surprised if a guy answers the phone as it was his idea and no worries ladies do wax both women and men at Beauty-Full Spa Pickering.

In regards to the Pain-Free Brazilian, we apply a topical anesthetic over the pelvic area to be waxed.  During the one-hour required absorption time you may wish to have a one-hour  RMT or relaxation massage or take a nap; have a facial or take advantage of our free Wi-Fi.  Once the absorption time has elapsed, your waxing will commence.  You also have a choice of wax, the creamy House Wax which is included in the $85 fee or you can select the Premium Liposoluble White Zinc Dioxide Warm Wax which carries an extra charge.

We also carry the very popular Merben Bikini Brushes, both the Jute for Sensitive Skin and the Sisal for Medium to Normal Skin for $15.95 each (price subject to increase).  These same brushes can be found online for up to $27.95 each or on Amazon for $89.95.  Daily use of this brush in the shower or bath removes the dry layers of skin, promoting correct regrowth of hair, thus reducing irritation and associated problems.
